Edit an email template


Your store comes with a number of email templates. These emails are sent out to you, your staff, or your customers, depending on the event (e.g. "you have a new order," "your order has shipped"), and how you have organized your Order Notifications.

Although they come ready-made in your shop, you may want to customize these email templates. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. From your shop admin, go to Settings > Notifications pages.

  2. Up top, in the Email templates section, click the template you want to change.


    A modal window will appear where you can make changes.

  3. First, you can edit the Email subject field.

  4. Then, you can edit the body of the email by editing the Plain text email body field.

  5. If you prefer to compose an HTML formatted email, click the HTML email tab to begin.


  6. When done your changes, click Save.


If you need to reset a template to its default, click Revert to default button next to it in your notifications settings.
